- The knower of God [1] is the one who, when he speaks, it is from God; when he is silent, it is with God; when he is alone, it is with God; and when he is among people, it is with God. He is the one who sees God with his heart, and his heart is the throne of the All-Merciful [2]. He is the one who has annihilated his ego [3] and subsists through his Lord [4]. He is the one who has passed away from his own attributes and lives through the attributes of his Lord. He is the one who has become a pure vessel for the divine manifestation [5].2
